The West Mill in Derbyshire is a popular choice for bride and grooms this year and we can see why. We had a lovely, fun and delightful day with Rob and Victoria, using the outdoor grounds by the river that are great for couple shoot, video and photos. One of the many things that stood out to us about the day is that Victoria made a speech instead of the groom. This started with a fun and unique game where the wedding guests and family had to vote with a pink or blue cards on a series of couple disagreements. These amusing questions included things such as “Who do we think is right most of the time”, “Who leaned in to kiss who first” and “Who do we think is the better driver.” Victoria went on to tell the amazingly romantic story of how the two met on holiday and Rob decided to catch a later flight home to spend more time with her. Over all this day was magical from start to finish, we wish Rob and Victoria all the best in future years to come!

And a lot of people warned me what it would be like walking your daughter down the aisle, the emotions you will feel and you really can’t prepare for it, it really is a special experience, the emotion really is quite overwhelming. Especially when I saw her in the dress for the first time. Sammy hoped their would be tears and I did not disappoint.”

I loved filming Samantha and Deans stunning summer time wedding at Blackbrook House, a venue that has both a stunning interior, awesome woodland grounds and the most amazing 3 course wedding meal!
